About Us

Many prominent people of the community have served as presidents, secretaries, and members of the Mutawalli Committee of Ibadat Khana, like Moulvi Syed Mohd Naheed, Dr. Mir Mustafa Ali Zaidi, Janab Syed Mujtaba Ahmed, Janab Mir Asad Ali (Advocate), Janab Agha Meer, Janab Sikander Ali Mirza (Advocate), Janab Nayyar Hussain Sahab, Janab Yousuf Ali Baig, Janab Syed Ali Mohammad Moosvi (Labour Commissioner), Janab Mir Alamdar Hussain Moosvi (IFS), Janab Syed Hasan Zaidi, Janab Baquer Ali Khan and Dr. Mir Asad Ali Khan. May Allah grant them a place in Jawar e Rehmat.

Janab Captain S.A. Hadi Sadiq, the previous President of Ibadat Khana e Hussaini, was instrumental in many projects that brought about improvements in IKH. He was instrumental in initiating the current construction project of the IKH.

Janab Mir Hasnain Ali Khan is the current President of Ibadat Khana-e-Hussaini and is spearheading the reconstruction.

Construction

The Ibadat Khana e Hussaini Committee proposes to inshallah demolish the old structure and construct a new one that consists of:-

  • A ground floor hall of 140 feet by 72 feet equivalent to 10080 Sq feet to accommodate 1680 persons in Namaz and more than 3500 in Majlis.

  • A mezzanine floor for women with an area of 4320 sq Feet to accommodate about 720 persons.

  • A Cellar with 28 car parking

  • Amenities like a hygienic and spacious kitchen, lifts, etc.

Activities

Majalis & Jashn

Majalis on Shahadat of Masoomeen (A.S.) and Jashan on the occasion of Wiladat of Masoomeen (A.S.) are regularly performed.

Prayers

Moulana Syed Hannan Razvi has been leading the Fajr prayers since 2013 and conducts the Dua-e- Nudba every Friday. He also leads all prayers and Aamaal in the absence of Moulana Nabi ul Hassan Sahab Zaidi.

Duas & Aamal

Aamaal on all crucial occasions like Shab-e-Qadr, Neem-e-Shabaan, Roz-e-Arafaat, Eid-e-Ghadeer, and Doura-e-Quran during Ramazan are regularly performed.

History of Ibadat Khana e Hussaini

Ibadat Khana E Hussaini came into existence when no building could be built or purchased to construct a Shia Ishna Ashari Masjid. It is said that Moulana Hussaini Mian Qibla (R.A.) bought a small house on the road from Darulshifa to Balsetty Khaith, where Marhoom started Namaz and Majalis.

He passed on the mantle to his student Moulana Mir Kazim Ali Zaidi (R.A.), who served Ibadat Khana E Hussaini for a long time. Due to failing health and eyesight problems, he passed on the responsibility to his son Dr. Mir Ahmed Ali Zaidi and his brother in law (wife’s brother) Moulvi Syed Abbas Hussain and his pious student Moulana Mirza Bahadur Ali Sahab (R.A.), who had just turned 18.

Syed Hannan Razvi is a Shi’a cleric and a popular speaker. Currently, he is in Hyd, India. He teaches in Houzat ul-Imam ul-Qayam (a.j.t.f), Az-Zehra(s.a) Academy Imam Juma & Jamat at Central Masjid of Shi’a community in Hyd city of India.

He studied Islamic Sciences and theology at the Al-Mustafa International University of Qum, where he earned a master’s degree. His interest lies in Quranic Sciences and teaching Islamic Sciences. After his schooling and college, he went to Al-Mustafa International University; he stayed for 17 years since 1995.
